I am dedicated to providing a high quality service, tailored to the individual needs of our residents. As a team we will ensure that Speedwell Court will feel like home to all our residents, their family and friends.
I will use my skills and knowledge to offer our residents help and support to live well, keep them active and involve them in community projects.
My role is to liaise with Families and future Residents considering a move to residential care.
I like caring for people and strive to provide food that residents look forward to and also enjoy getting to know them and interacting with them on a daily basis.
I absolutely love organising events and helping our residents enjoy their existing hobbies and trying new ones. I have such a passion for keeping everyone smiling and motivated!
Knowing I am making a difference to people’s life’s is such a great feeling, I love planning and running activities with the residents, especially Sheila’s Monday Art Group!

Dad moved into Speedwell Court in July and was welcomed into a truly wonderful community. The care, kindness and attention to detail shown by the staff are quite exceptional. I have full confidence in the team to provide the best possible care for Dad.

I got a real good feeling from all the staff here when I first checked out several care homes for Mum. Mum has now been living there for six weeks and I couldn't have asked for more. She is superbly looked after and is settling in nicely.

My friend, who suffers from early-onset dementia, moved into Speedwell Court at the beginning of March after a long time of uncertainty and confusion for her. Before lockdown myself and her other friends visited her several times and could see her settling in comfortably. Knowing her to be so well cared for was an immense relief for us during this uncertain time.

Speedwell Court has been outstanding, although we have been unable to go and visit our loved ones since March 2020, over the past three months we have had video calls and regular updates from the home.
