Care Quality Commission

Meet the team

I have worked at Abbeyfield for over five years. My favourite part of my job is the happiness of the residents and ensuring that the quality of care is to a high standard. I often spend time sitting with residents getting to know them and hear their life stories which is fascinating. In my spare time I like to spend time with my family and go on long walks with my dog.

Courtney

Care Home Manager

I have worked at Abbeyfield for 14 years. My favourite thing about my job is making sure our residents have a clean and happy environment and really make them feel at home. I enjoy being helpful to the residents and do my best to make their day a little bit brighter.

Patricia

Senior Housekeeper

I have been a carer here for almost five years. I spend a lot of quality time with residents, chatting about all sorts of things whenever I get the chance. I am an avid bird watcher and a member of the RSPB. I also enjoy visiting historic houses as part of the National Trust.

Helen

Senior Carer

I have worked at Abbeyfield for 14 years. I am responsible for our residents and the upkeep of our home. I ensure all residents and staff are happy at the house which is my favourite part of the job. In my own time I enjoy gardening and spending time with my six grandchildren.
