Life at the house

retro sweets shop at westfield houseWe have a dedicated Activities Organiser & Activities Worker who encourage residents with art work, crafts, flower arranging, cake making, games, sing a longs, outings, etc. to help stimulate the residents and to keep them active. We have volunteers who come into Westfield House to help with these activities every day. Activities are organised to suit the needs of the residents, we also have many external groups coming in to play instruments, or have a good old fashioned sing along with our residents. Residents can visit our ‘Retro’ shop for a bag of sweets.

We have a lovely Sensory garden that our residents use, it has raised beds, various plants that are different in smell and touch and seating so that our residents and their families can sit out on a warm day.

All food is freshly prepared and ‘home cooked’ to meet the needs of each resident.

We pride ourselves on using high quality, fresh produce at all times and offer choices for our resident’s at every mealtime.
