Abbeyfield House in Gloucester provides our residents the privacy of their own accommodation combined with the companionship of others and support of the dedicated house staff in a friendly and welcoming environment. Our residents enjoy home cooked meals and organised outings. The home is very welcoming and friendly and residents are encouraged to remain both mentally and physically active and enjoy social events organised throughout the year with input from the residents.

Abbeyfield House, Gloucester is a house which was formerly a GP surgery converted into a spacious and attractive sheltered home with generous light and airy rooms. The rooms available have en-suite facilities and there is a communal lounge/dining area plus a large garden. The accommodation consists of 8 studio flats and 2 self contained 1 bedroom flats. Rent is also inclusive of communal cleaning, catering, utility bills and Council Tax and repairs are taken care of too. New residents are welcome from age 55 years and over.

• Residents are persuaded to join in as much as possible with activities ongoing at the Abbeyfield House.
• Resident’s, family and friends are most welcome to join in on house activities

• Chicken pie, chips, peas and gravy followed by Jam and coconut sponge and Cornish custard
• Roast beef, Yorkshire pudding, fresh seasonal vegetables and gravy followed by homemade lemon meringue pie
• Cold meat salad with mash potato beetroot and pickles followed by Jelly and Ice cream

Tea

• Bacon and mushroom baguettes or sandwiches and homemade cakes and fresh fruit
• Homemade soup and fresh bread
• Cheese on toast with side salad
