Purpose built in 1990 to provide supported accommodation for twelve older people, Tullis House provides comfortable rooms with modern en suite shower facilities in the small coastal town of Monifieth, Dundee.
Two delicious and nutritious home-cooked meals are served each day in our spacious communal lounge and dining area. The room also has comfy armchairs and settees, so is a very sociable place for if you want some company. We also have three small, well-equipped kitchens where you can prepare your own breakfast for an easy start to the day.
We have a guest/respite facility which is available for a stay of up to one month.
Our 24-hour alarm system and secure door entry system ensures you area always safe and secure, with personal pendants as well as pull cords throughout the house providing that added peace of mind.
We organise a number of social activities and events for you to get involved with if you wish. Although we encourage residents to join in there is never any pressure to do so if you'd rather enjoy your own company in our peaceful surroundings. Regular activities include fortnightly games evenings, bingo, coffee mornings, arts and crafts and weekly excercise classes.
Tullis House is managed by the Abbeyfield Monifieth Society.
