Located in the traditional seaside town of Worthing, famous for its Art Deco pier and Dome Cinema, one of the UK’s oldest working cinemas, Seascapes is a stunning property built in the 1800’s. Although it has been modernised many of the original features are still visible in the house; combining the elegance and history of the past with the commodities and conveniences of the present.
We have 10 modern en-suite rooms with small kitchen areas, which include a microwave, kettle and fridge; allowing you to remain independent and perfect for when you have family and friends coming to visit. Each room has been maintained to an excellent standard and some of our rooms have a balcony, which overlook the charming rear walled garden with its shaded seating and patio area.
Having a maximum of 10 residents within the house adds to the cosy feel of the house and our staff help to make our house special, we have a very low staff turnover, for example our Domestic Assistant has been in their role over 17 years. This means that our residents and staff to get the chance to really know each other within a homely environment.
You can have the best of both worlds with the privacy and freedom to come and go as you please, but also the community feel of coming together in the house with shared meals and meeting up with other residents to talk about your day. Spend time in the communal lounge where you can catch up with friends, watching a film together on the communal TV, or spend some time doing a puzzle together. Our bright and airy conservatory is the perfect place to spend time with other residents and is often used by residents for reading, knitting, sewing or doing puzzles.
Ideally located, Seascapes benefits by being close to the beach, town centre and local doctors surgery. There’s plenty to keep you busy in the area, you’ll discover a number of restaurants and cafes. There are numerous other attractions including the Pier, two cinemas and three theatres which offer a varied range of productions throughout the year.
