Features
Nestled in a quiet area on the outskirts of Solihull, Abbeyfield House sits just off the main road that leads into the town centre. With two stunning gardens that residents enjoy helping to maintain, we provide 15 rooms and 1 flat, each with its own kitchenette. We encourage you to bring your own furniture to help personalise your new home.
We benefit from excellent transport links with a bus stop just over the road and a train station just a 10-minute walk away. For those who enjoy an active lifestyle, there are a number of golf clubs and a leisure centre with a large swimming pool and gym close by. We are also in close proximity to the town centre, which has a large number of fantastic shops, restaurants and cafes for you to enjoy if you wish.
We are lucky to have a fantastic team of volunteers who put in over 100 hours into the house on a monthly basis. They often put on activities, events and take residents out for day trips within the local area, whether that be into town or out for a delicious lunch. We have a garden party each summer, lots of festive fun at Christmas and on your birthday, you choose your favourite meal which is, of course, all washed down with a slice of cake!
Housing benefit can be claimed where eligible.
