Located in the beautiful market town of Milnthorpe, where you'll discover a stunning 19th century church overlooking The Square, streets filled with cottages and shops, and the famous Levens Hall just to the north, is Hartland House, a residential care home that offers personalised care for each resident.

Hartland House is a converted building that was extended in 2010 offering 31 homely, comfortable rooms which can accommodate 32 residents. Our rooms come furnished with a bed, bedside cabinet, dresser, television, music system, and a wardrobe with lockable storage, and have en-suite wet rooms with showering facilities. For extra peace of mind and security, we have a 24 hour radio nurse call system.

We pride ourselves on our light, spacious and friendly home which has been adapted to suit the needs of our residents and the local community, and have a dedicated, qualified and experienced team who are committed to ongoing staff training and development, to ensure the care you receive is always a high standard.

If you're looking for companionship, we have three beautifully furnished lounges where activities take place and is the ideal location for catching up with friends over a cup of tea. We also have a heated conservatory which you can also enjoy. Spend time in the garden, enjoying the fresh air and relaxing in the sunshine; the garden has a summer house and patio with ample seating so you can while away the hours chatting to friends, new and old.

We're in a breathtaking location; Hartland House stands on the southern outskirts of Milnthorpe with exquisite view of Dallam Park, and we have two medical surgeries nearby which provide GP and Community Nursing service. You'll also find a weekly market, dentist, optician, newsagents, bank and two supermarkets.

Hartland House is managed by Abbeyfield Lakeland Extra Care Society.
