Meet our staff

Treating our residents with dignity and respect is at the heart of our ethos; helping each individual with the daily functions they can no longer complete for themselves while encouraging them to retain as much independence and autonomy as possible.

As a care home we are not registered to provide nursing care but since our manager and deputy manager both have nursing qualifications, they can quickly and competently identify where medical intervention is required. Local GPs visit the house on a regular basis but new residents from within the area will often prefer to retain the services of their own GP if possible. We work alongside local district nursing teams, pallative care teams, dieticians etc. to ensure that all medical care needs are met. Chiropody, dental and optical services can be provide on or off site.

MusicIn consultation with our residents themselves, a variety of entertainments and activities are available. With the involvement of our Friends of Campbell Snowdon volunteers as well as professional entertainers, we are able to meet most of the activity needs and requests of our residents.

In house we organise arts and crafts groups, chairobics, film nights, music groups, poetry group, spa days and quizzes. A church service is held fortnightly in the house. For days out, we organise shopping and garden centre outings and theatre and cinema visits amongst other trips to places of interest. During the warmer months we have organised sailing on the Waverley, weekends away, helping in the garden and attending local events and galas.
