Life at the house

We believe in enjoying later life and an Abbeyfield house will always offer residents the opportunity to get involved in activities and entertainment - which are a big part of life in our houses!

We offer an extensive activity programme within our supported houses, with our teams dedicated to coordinating events. We understand the importance of our residents’ emotional and physical well-being, and keeping active and enjoying later life is crucial to this.

While keeping active is important for older people and we offer numerous opportunities for residents to stay active, but it’s always the residents choice to get involved, with their independence and choice always being respected.

Dining areaAll of our food is home prepared and cooked. We appreciate how
important good nutrition is in later life, and try our very best to provide healthy well balanced meals that will appeal to everyone’s taste buds. Special diets can also be catered for, and our staff will always make sure that there’s something on the menu that appeals to you, from a range of choices each day.
