Abbeyfield Bamburgh Society has one house Armstrong House was opened in 1980 providing sheltered housing for older people wishing to remain independent and active.
Our house was part of the Armstrong Estate where it was used by the workers and their families of the estate for holidays and recreation. Today it provides a great location to offer sheltered housing for older people. It has 12 studio flats, lounge, dining room, laundry, guest facilities, conservatory and an attractive garden for residents' use offering stunning views of Bamburgh Castle.

With stunning views of Bamburgh Castle, Armstrong House has 12 beautiful studio apartments with en-suite facilities. We also have two alpacas who live in their own paddock and a flock of hens, who provide joy to all of our residents.
