Situated in the scenic village of Horsted Keynes, with breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape, Westall House - Independent Living has been designed for you to live completely self-sufficiently in your own space, alongside communal hubs to socialise and connect with your neighbours.
Our fully accessible one and two bedroom apartments take into account your current and future needs with modern features throughout. Each apartment has an individual, secure entry with their own front door and are completed with open plan living, dining and kitchen area, wet room and plenty of storage. As well as this each apartment has an on-call system for added peace of mind.
A monthly service charge will cover the cost of maintenance of your apartment and the shared community areas, as well as two nutritious home-cooked meals provided daily in the dining room, which you can enjoy at lunchtime and dinner. The only other additional costs are for utilities (water, electricity and council tax) plus any additional Extra Care services as explained below.
Future proof living
Should your needs change over time, we also offer additional Extra Care services to help you with your daily routine. Although we cannot provide nursing care, the services are can be tailored to meet a wide range of needs, ensuring that you get the support and care you need to live as independently as possible.
At Westall House we're known for our parties and events. Those moving into our new apartments will be able to join in on a year-round calendar of activities and events such as, valentines lunches, quizzes, round the world dinners, guest singers and speakers and film nights.
We take great pride in being well connected to the local community and enjoy visits from local schools and entertainers. Close by you’ll also find the local village shop, St Giles Church, The Crown and Green Man pubs, a small post office, Sheffield Park Gardens, the Bluebell Railway, Heaven Farm, Wakehurst Place and the Princess Royal Hospital.
