Our brand new purpose-built extension provides dementia friendly care in an exclusive setting, which is sure to exceed expectation. We can accommodate 15 residents in modern, bright, single rooms each with en-suite facilities, and set within warm and homely surroundings.
We understand that dementia affects each of our residents differently, so we tailor our support to suit each person by finding out what they enjoy. This means that we can ensure they are engaged and interested in activities that are meaningful and fulfilling to them.
It is through these personal connections between our dedicated staff and wonderful residents that help maintain relationships, identity and individuality so that an enriched quality of life can be enjoyed.
Talk to us about respite stays
We’re proud to offer respite stays at Westall House Dementia Care Home a short-stay that can be planned ahead, or in the case of an emergency, last-minute. Suitable for individuals seeking support following post-operative or hospital care, or whilst their regular caregiver takes a break, respite care can also be used as a way of introducing long-term residential care to a loved one.
At Westall House Dementia Care Home our respite stays include:

Meet the team
Having started as a Care Assistant, Molly has progressed into the role of Head of Dementia Care at Westall House in Horsted Keynes. "I enjoy helping the residents most. I love being able to do their hair and nails. The best part of it is making them laugh and smile".

Becky started Westall as a care assistant, moved to care team leader on days, and then nights. She had a short break from working with Westall House was thrilled to rejoin the team last June as the Deputy Head of Care. She has her Level 5 in Health and Social Care.
