About the property

We provide a peaceful, friendly atmosphere where residents can remain as independent as possible.  We offer a range of activities from coffee mornings to the more energetic exercise classes.  It's a home from home with support when you need it from our professional and caring house staff and volunteers.

This House  was built in 1920. It overlooks the Thames Estuary and is a short walk from Southend's Cliffs Pavilion.  The spacious accommodation provides rooms for 12 residents and, as with Abbeyfield Southend's other Sheltered Houses, the services of a House Manager, Careline emergency service and the support of the Administration Office are all included in the monthly charges.
