Supported Houses and Care Homes in Scotland are geographically spread across the country and managed by their individual committees. No two ASiS houses are the same but share one ethos: To make time and provide housing, support and companionship to older people.
As a charity we operate a not for profit model so that our focus is on providing quality accommodation, care and support for our residents.
All ASiS member houses and homes are regulated and inspected by the Care Inspectorate in accordance with Scottish regulations and standards. We also have to meet the requirements of the Scottish Social Services Council, the Scottish Housing Regulator and The Office of the Scottish Charities Regulator. Finally, we have a National Care Home contract that defines standards for the care and nursing home sector in Scotland, in conjunction with the Care Inspectorate.
Abbeyfield has several Care Homes throughout Scotland, filled with professional and friendly teams offering support to older people 24 hours a day. Whilst each home has its own personality and unique features, they all share the same dedication to providing the highest level of care for residents.
Abbeyfield has complied with the government’s guidance on managing the risk of COVID-19 and is COVID-secure. Please click to find out more about our response to the pandemic.
