Abbeyfield International Member Societies
Abbeyfield's International promotes the Abbeyfield concept globally using its network of member national societies and, through them, an extended network of local societies.
Currently we have member societies in Canada, South Africa, New Zealand, Australia, Belgium, Poland and Jersey.
Abbeyfield homes, wherever they are, aim to put something back into their communities. Our staff and volunteers join us with wide-ranging skills and expertise from a variety of industries and professions allowing us to provide the best service to our residents.

Abbeyfield Australia Society
Abbeyfield Australia provides affordable housing for older people and people with disabilities who wish to live independently within a supportive environment.
Abbeyfield Belgium Society
Founded in 1995 to support independent older people in Belgium live a continued sociable and convivial life.
Abbeyfield Canada Society
Canada joined Abbeyfield International in 1985 and remains committed to the Abbeyfield ideals first articulated by the founder Major Richard Carr-Gomm.
Abbeyfield Jersey Society
Abbeyfield Jersey have been a charitable housing organisation in Jersey for more than 25 years. We believe older people deserve time and respect.
Abbeyfield New Zealand Society
Abbeyfield New Zealand Society was first established as a charitable organisation in 1992. While Abbeyfield NZ operates autonomously, being part of an international network strengthens our work here, giving us access to information and a wide range of operational experience.
Abbeyfield South Africa Society
We envision a South Africa where all older persons have equal access to accommodation and care that is affordable and promotes quality of life, protection, development and participation.
Abbeyfield Poland Society
At the Abbeyfield London Polish Society we aim to provide a peaceful, friendly atmosphere at our sheltered living homes. Residents are encouraged to remain as independent as possible at the sheltered houses we manage.
