Located in the picturesque town of Flint, Abbeyfield House is a purpose built retirement home offering supported housing for older people. We provide a peaceful and friendly atmosphere where our residents are encouraged to remain as independent as possible.

Abbeyfield House was built in 2004 and has nine en-suite rooms all with a small kitchenette, allowing you to prepare refreshments and light meals and snacks, which is perfect for when you have visiting family and friends over. All of our rooms come unfurnished, allowing you to decorate your room to suit your personal taste and make it a home from home.

Our retirement home has a communal lounge-dining room and garden for our residents to enjoy. Our residents often like to come together to socialise, join in with activities and relax. While away the hours in the sunshine, in our lovely garden or chat up with a cup of tea with new friends. Guests are welcome during social hours and residents can come and go as they please, this is your home after all.

We're in a great location, just a short distance from the many facilities and amenities that Flint has to offer. Flint town lies on the estuary of the River Dee which was formerly Flintshire’s county town. Today, it is the third largest town in the county and is known as the gateway to Wales with good transport links by road (A55 North Wales Express Way) and rail to Cheshire and North West Wales. The area is filled with a rich history and culture and has a lively atmosphere offering something for everyone.

Abbeyfield House is a home from home with support when you need it from our professional and caring house staff and volunteers.

Abbeyfield House is managed by Abbeyfield Wales Society.
