Our location
Welcome to David Gresham House, a purpose-built residential care home nestled in the historic town of Oxted, Surrey. Our mission is to provide exceptional care, whilst empowering and upholding the dignity of each of our residents.
Situated in its own attractive landscaped grounds, at the foot of the picturesque North Downs, our location offers excellent transport links with nearby train and bus routes servicing the local area and beyond. The home is also within walking distance of churches, a post office and local shops. Residents can also bring their own car.
Our rooms
At David Gresham House, our rooms are designed to create a warm and familial atmosphere which caters to the needs of our 29 residents. Each spacious room delivers a sense of comfort and is equipped with modern amenities, including an en-suite wet room, television and telephone ports, and for added peace of mind there is a call bell system connecting to the care team.
In addition to the fine residential care offered at David Gresham House, there are also five modern sheltered flats comprising of a bedroom, sitting room, kitchenette and wet room with toilet and shower.
At David Gresham House, our highly skilled team of carers and nurses provide a secure, relaxed, and homely environment. We prioritise the wellbeing of our residents through carefully tailored individual support and care; recognising that our residents make our house their home.
We understand the importance of creating a personalised and homely environment for our residents, and whilst we provide furniture, we encourage residents to personalise their room with their own cherisher small furniture, ornaments, and other personal effects.
Communal spaces
Our communal spaces include delightful gardens with a patio area, adorned with mature trees, shrubs, and flowering tubs that are meticulously maintained, providing a pleasant and soothing view for our residents. We have two lounges and a dining room where residents can spend time getting to know each other.
Activities and events
We understand the importance of engaging both the body and mind, which is why we offer a variety of trips and activities throughout the year.
Food
Mealtimes are an important part of our community here at David Gresham House, as it’s a time where everyone comes together to enjoy delicious home-cooked food.
