About the property

Lee house is situated in idyllic Wimbledon village where there is something for everyone. The village has an array of chic shops, cafes and bars, as well as a selection of restaurants from around the world, including the sumptuous Cannizaro house. When the sun is shinning there is nothing better than taking a walk across Wimbledon common or even having a picnic and maybe even spot a womble. The village becomes very vibrant during Wimbledon Tennis fortnight where you can often spot a celebrity or two down the local pub. Lee house has also been visited by Andy Murray’s grandparents and brother when brought home by one of our residents for afternoon tea. Of course the tennis grounds can be experienced at any time of the year with the Wimbledon Lawn tennis museum and tour. Also located near by is the UKs first Buddhist Temple where you can walk around an ornamental lake, flower garden and Orchard garden. You might also like to visit the Wimbledon Museum of local history or learn about the history of windmills at the Wimbledon windmill after which you can relax in the Windmill tea rooms. Wimbledon village is truly diverse and those who work and live here appreciate what a special place it is.

Lee house has 27 en-suite bedrooms many of which have a balcony or patio doors which look out onto the beautiful well established garden. Lee house is very much a home away from home, with a very cosy atmosphere and friendly caring staff who are available 24 hour a day.

Lee house prides itself in having a clean bright decor throughout and is kept meticulously clean by our very friendly domestic and maintenance staff.

We understand that moving to Lee house can be a big lifestyle change and our dedicated staff team are here to help support and you and your family in this move. We encourage individuals to bring in personal items, such as furniture, pictures and decorations, to make the room as unique and individual as you are and to make it their own. Each resident will have a care plan that is individual to them, created with the input of the resident, family/friends, staff and any others involved in their care.

Our weekly visiting hairdresser, Marian, will have you looking your best for any occasion when you visit her friendly hairdressing salon in the home.

Lee house uses any excuse to have a party, afternoon tea or just in house entertainment.
