Overview

Nestled away in a quiet residential setting is Garrad House, Kings Langley. We are wonderfully located just moments away from the much loved local bustling village high street with its many shops, café’s and easy transport links.

Opened in 1991 Garrad House is a purpose built house with nine studio rooms each with its own en-suite facility, plus three one bedroom flats.  All of the rooms are unfurnished so that you can bring your favourite and familiar items with you to create your own little paradise.  You will have your own front door and room key so that you can come and go as you want.

The house has a lovely light and airy communal conservatory where anyone is welcome to come and sit, have a coffee or a chat, take part in activities and anything else you feel like doing.  We are surrounded by a large, beautifully maintained landscaped garden which you are welcome to sit in, have a walk round or do some gardening.

Additional facilities at Garrad House include a lift, laundry room, entry phone system and a small car park at the front. We have a visiting hairdresser and you are more than welcome to have visiting services come to you.  Each room has central heating, television aerial and telephone points, built in wardrobe and chest of drawers. For additional peace of mind Garrad House has an emergency alarm call system in every room, together with a personal alarm pendant.

Garrad House is managed by the Abbeyfield West Herts Society
