Macgregor house is a sheltered house offering plenty of space and extensive Gardens to enjoy. Our Residents feel safe and secure within a warm friendly environment, with the security of  Door Intercom access .The House is Maintained and decorated to an excellent standard providing our residents with a comfortable, safe  environment to live in.

The house was built in 1983 and renovated in 2010. The house with extensive gardens providing home from home environment for 11 residents. Home cooked lunch and high tea are provided daily by our Housekeepers, in which residents take within the communal dining room, having the opportunity to meet socially. The house is situated in a quiet residential area of Salisbury.

Life at the house

Music afternoonVolunteers provide various events within the house that residents enjoy.

Activities include:

• Coffee mornings
• Quizzes
• Live Music with Afternoon teas

We provide two healthy and delicious meals a day, which are cooked and prepared at the house. Our qualified cooks pride themselves on providing excellent food which is all freshly prepared, and where possible, using locally sourced produce.

Each house has an individual approach to catering for their residents, with menus being tailored to dietary needs and special events. But we always offer plenty of choices, including vegetarian options, and great portion sizes!

Meal time at an Abbeyfield is also important as it’s when the whole house gets together - a time to have a chat enjoying great food and great company.
