In the area

Situated on the Babbacombe and St. Marychurch plateau Abbeyfield Sanders Court is fortunate to be in the largest level area in Torquay. A two minute level walk brings you to the beautiful shopping precinct of St. Marychurch with a couple of supermarkets, three chemists, cafe's and lots of interesting independent shops, including Bygones which is a trip through the ages museum.

There are two Doctor's Surgeries also in walking distance and there is a regular and frequent bus service that stops right outside to take you into the main town of Torquay or up to the out of town shopping area.

The beautiful Babbacombe Downs are a little further away well worth the walk for the stunning views and with our local theatre and a range of Cafe's and Inns. There is a adults only park just around the corner and we are opposite Cary Park with it's playground and tennis courts.
