Abbeyfield House at Stow on the Wold sits in the heart of the village in the Cotswold’s, Gloucestershire.  The Cotswolds is an area of outstanding natural beauty and is a tourist attraction of England. The House is located in the town centre approximately 50 yards from the main town. It was purpose built and has been extended since. The rooms are available unfurnished so you are able to bring your own furniture and belongings with you making it a home from home. The House also has a most beautiful and secluded garden where garden parties are enjoyed in the summer and residents can sit outside at their leisure and enjoy the seasonal flowers in bloom. This is a valuable space where residents can chat to other residents or just enjoy quiet time watching the various birds that visit the garden.

We provide a peaceful friendly atmosphere where residents can remain as independent as possible. The House Manager arranges various activities/events during the year which the residents thoroughly enjoy and the House Keeper also holds our annual summer party. Home cooked meals are prepared daily by our dedicated staff and can be enjoyed in the communal lounge / dining room.
It's a home from home with support when you need from our professional and caring house staff and volunteers.

The accommodation was purpose built in 1976 and has been extended since with a conservatory also being recently added. Most rooms enjoy en suite facilities all with patio doors overlooking the well tended garden. The accommodation comprises of a stair lift for ease of access.
