Residents use this to meet up informally and to attend regular activities. There are two well maintained gardens providing colour all year round with benches, chairs, tables and umbrellas for residents and their family and friends to enjoy.

In The Area

The house is situated in a prime location and is walking distance from the centre of Solihull.

It is close to bus stops which take you into Solihull, Birmingham and even the National Exhibition Centre. The train station, which is in walking distance for some, connects with many other towns of interest. Local Ring and Ride buses and taxis are regularly used by the residents. Solihull is a prime shopping location with its own library, cinema, theatre and parks. There is a vibrant and diverse U3A (university of the 3rd age) organisation with forty interest groups including chess, gardening, & history. Solihull has a number of churches covering a range of denominations. These are all accessible by short bus or taxi ride and for some are walking distance. There are many clubs and societies including women’s institute, bridge and philately.

For the more energetic there are a number of golf clubs and a leisure centre with a large swimming pool and gym. The transport systems give access to a range of venues, including Royal Shakespeare Theatre in Stratford, Symphony Hall, Hippodrome, Alexandra and Repertory theatres in Birmingham and the National Indoor and Exhibition Centres.
