Life at the house

MusicWe provide a peaceful, friendly atmosphere where residents can remain as independent as possible. We offer a range of activities including art, music, scrabble and outings organised by residents, volunteers and staff.

At Abbeyfield Court, we provide two healthy and delicious meals a day, which are cooked and prepared at the house. Our qualified cooks pride themselves on providing excellent food which is all freshly prepared, and where possible, using locally sourced produce.

Each house has an individual approach to catering for their residents, with menus being tailored to dietary needs and special events. But we always offer plenty of choices, including vegetarian options, and great portion sizes!

Meal time at an Abbeyfield is also important as it’s when the whole house gets together - a time to have a chat enjoying great food and great company.
