Welcome to our house

Maryville House is a small communal house built in 1899 and is located in a quiet side street in County Antrim, Belfast.

The house offers a beautiful garden which hosts a spectacular garden party during the summer and is a great place to enjoy some peace and quiet, or a stroll with friends and family.

This attractive original building provides comfortable and secure accommodation for our residents and offers eight ensuite bedrooms and one self contained flat. There is a communal lounge where you can enjoy some time to yourself or be with other residents, a dining room and laundry facilities.

Food is an important part of life at Maryville House, and our residents are actively involved in the creation of the menu; likes, dislikes, allergies and food intolerance are all taken into consideration. All ingredients are fresh and locally sourced.

Here at Maryville House we offer a range of activities and events for our residents and aim to have something for everyone to enjoy should they wish to join in. Our staff regularly organise trips to visit the local cinema, garden centres or to enjoy a spot of afternoon tea. If you feel like having a trip to Belfast City Centre we have very good transport links nearby.

This house is managed by Abbeyfield Belfast Society - Charity number: XN47884.

What our residents say

My move here was one of the better decisions I have taken. I feel safe, supported and among people with like needs as myself. I am happy and content with my life now.

Eva, Resident at Abbeyfield House

The house is very nice and my accommodation is so cosy and comfortable. The staff are great cooks and always there to help and have a chat. All the residents are very friendly and we all get on together. Abbeyfield ticks all the boxes, I would recommend it to anyone.
