Welcome to our house

Located in the idyllic and historic town of Potters Bar, Donaldson Lodge is a supported house with 12 unfurnished en-suite bedrooms, allowing you to bring your favourite pieces of furniture, treasured photos and beloved personal items to make it feel like home.

Built in the 1950's, Donaldson Lodge used to belong to the Donaldson family and is conveniently situated in Potters Bar as you get the best of both worlds with stunning countryside on the one hand and the location being a stone's throw away from London.

Our main aim is to make it feel like a home from home for our residents and we have a dedicated, caring and professional team of staff who work together to provide a comfortable, friendly and warm environment. For peace of mind, we have a 24 hour careline to provide reassurance and security to our residents when our staff aren't on the premises.

Our residents like to come together and often meet in the bright and airy conservatory most mornings to have tea and coffee and have a chat or take part in an activity with one of our volunteers - it's the perfect opportunity to get to know other residents and make new friends.

We're in a great location, we have excellent transport links for those wishing to travel around with a bus and train station within walking distance. In the town you'll find lots of delightful range and choice of restaurants and close by to the house we also have a Sainsbury's, local shops and the Post office.
