Welcome to our house

Located in Guildford, Abbeyfield Castle Gate is only a few minutes walk from the High Street and is adjacent to the beautiful Castle grounds, to which residents have their own private gate. The house is near to Guildford Cathedral and Watts Gallery among many other sites of interest.

Abbeyfield Castle Gate was built in 1868 and renovated in 2002. It consists of 8 single occupancy flats and includes mobility standard properties and facilities. Each room comes fully carpeted and with a kitchenette so you can bring your own fridge and kettle allowing you remain independent, and also come with your own e-suite shower and toilet. Bring your favourite personal items to personalise your room to make it feel like home.

Our residents like to meet in the conservatory to watch television and play games together, or spend time in the garden which has magnificent views of Guildford Castle and is the perfect location for whiling away the hours in the sunshine or putting your feet up and relaxing. The garden has a perfect layout with a patio and gazebo and has several mature trees and shrubs which are well maintained to give a pleasant picture for residents to enjoy.
