Abbeyfield House is a modern house custom built in 1992 and is situated within ¾ acre of land which is mostly grass with private parking.
The house is close to a bus route which will take you north to Glasgow and south to Troon and Ayr, where Robert Burns' birthplace is situated. Dean Park and Kay Park are both within walking distance of Abbeyfield House.
We have eight bright ensuite rooms on the ground floor and one ensuite room with a shower cubicle which is used as our guest room. We also have an upstairs flat complete with a stair lift which would be ideal for a couple wanting to live together.
Rooms are unfurnished so that you can bring along your favourite belongings and furniture to create your own home from home. Each room is equipped with a kettle, toaster and a small refrigerator. We have a large comfortable lounge which overlooks our beautiful garden and a delightful summer house that was donated to us by the grateful family of one of our residents.
The ethos of Abbeyfield is homeliness and every effort is made to make our residents feel right at home. It is a friendly and happy atmosphere here at Abbeyfield House and visitors are always welcome.
This house is managed by the Abbeyfield Kilmarnock Society.
