Located on the stunning promenade, Abbeyfield House The Parade was built in 1992 with renovation works carried out in 2012. The house has 10 ensuite rooms with a level deck shower and are unfurnished for you to bring your own furniture and personal belongings, making your new place feel like home. Each room has a kitchenette, which you can use for making drinks and light snacks.
The house is ideally located with truly magnificent views of the sea, which our residents really enjoy. We are centrally located with the local amenities within walking distance. Our lounge is on the first floor which boasts panoramic views of the sea, Copeland Island and the lighthouse.
The conservatory leads out into a sheltered walled garden which is ideal for some privacy whilst relaxing outside.
We organise a range of activities and events within the house.
This house is managed by Abbeyfield & Wesley Society.
I have been working here for 15 years. I love the home from home atmosphere of the house, which helps to give the residents independence in day to day living. Helping new residents to move in and feel settled is an important part of the job. No two days are the same which makes working here both interesting and enjoyable.
