Features
Dock Park House is a traditional Victorian Villa with beautiful gardens and views over the River Nith. We are situated near to public transport, shops and the town centre.
The house has 13 rooms which are either en-suite or have a bathroom or shower close by for your personal use. Rooms are unfurnished so that you can bring your own furniture and personal belongings to decorate the room to your liking. There are shared kitchen facilities so that you can make light snacks and refreshments.
We have a communal living and dining room which means that the house is very sociable and you are welcome to have as much company as you like. We also have an attractive garden where residents can sit out and enjoy the sunshine.
We provide delicious home cooked evening meals all prepared with fresh locally sourced food where possible which are served in the communal dining room.
We have a wonderful team of volunteers who organise activities such as coffee mornings, arts and crafts afternoons and exercise classes. We also arrange day trips and outings to local attractions.
This house is managed by the Abbeyfield Scotland Society.
