Features
Built in 1987, Turriff is a house with comfortable accommodation, all on the ground floor, for nine residents. It has an attractive lounge looking out onto the Wynd and a small garden with patio and private parking. This is house is ideal for those who are active and independent.
The house is situated within easy walking distance of local amenities such as shops, supermarkets, cafes, the library and church. There is also a medical centre attached to the community hospital. The town of Turriff is situated in the lovely rolling landscape of rural Aberdeenshire.
This sheltered housing accommodation is of a high standard with most rooms either ensuite or a bathroom or shower close by for your personal use. Rooms are unfurnished so that you can provide your own furniture and private possessions, and there are shared kitchen facilities.
A communal living/dining room means that the house is very sociable and you can have as much company as you like. We also have an attractive garden where residents can sit out and enjoy the sunshine.
Two nutritious home-cooked meals are provided every day by our house manager, using fresh locally sourced produce where possible, and residents have facilities in their own rooms for making breakfast and refreshments.
The house has access to a community alarm service, so you can always contact someone for help, even when our staff are away from the site.
This house is managed by the Abbeyfield Scotland Society.
