Giffnock is a warm and welcoming house which was built in 1975. There has been recent modernisation work carried out and redecoration to create a beautiful new entrance, hallway and living area.
The house has eight flats, most of which are either ensuite or have a bathroom or shower close by for your personal use. Rooms are unfurnished so that you can provide your own furniture and personal possessions creating your new home from home.
We are in walking distance of local amenities, with shops and places to eat and drink close by. We are also surrounded by parks and golf courses.
We have a communal living/dining room which are well used by the residents either to spend time to themselves or socialise with other residents. You are welcome to have as many guests as you wish. We have very attractive, well maintained gardens where you can sit out and enjoy the sunshine.
Two nutritious home-cooked meals are provided every day by our house manager, using fresh locally sourced produce where possible, and residents have facilities in their own rooms for making breakfast and refreshments.
This house is managed by the Abbeyfield Scotland Society.
