Woodville is situated in North Berwick. It is a traditional house built in 1900 and renovated in 1980, which enjoys an elevated view of the surrounding area. It has six rooms with shared kitchen facilities.

This very sheltered accommodation is of a high standard. Most rooms are either en-suite or have a bathroom or shower close by for your personal use. Rooms are unfurnished so that you can provide your own furniture and private possessions.

A communal living/dining room means that the house is very sociable and you can have as much company as you like. We also have an attractive garden where residents can sit out and enjoy the sunshine.

The house has access to a community alarm service, so you can always contact someone for help, even when our staff are away from the site.

Woodville is managed by Abbeyfield Scotland

Life at the house

Arts and CraftsActivities such as coffee mornings, arts and crafts afternoons, and exercises, especially geared towards older people, are arranged on a regular basis. Monthly social activities include social / shopping outings, organised by committee members.

We also arrange ad hoc day trips and outings to local attractions.

Dining areaWe provide highly nutritious lunches and delicious home-cooked evening meals, all prepared with fresh, locally sourced food where possible.

Meals are served in the communal living/dinging room so they are a bit of a social occasion. However, residents have breakfast making facilities in their own rooms so that they can start the day whenever they want.
