Abbeyfield Ing Royde is an existing Abbeyfield House which is an impressive Victorian property that has been sympathetically extended and refurbished to provide a mixed model of share ownership and rental apartments with communal facilities.
Total of 30 apartments, balconies for upper floors, emergency support system, on-site manager, well-being area, laundry facilities, dining facilities with meals freshly prepared daily on site.
Health and wellbeing facilities
Jeanette is the deputy manager at Ing Royde and has been with Abbeyfield since the scheme reopened following extensive renovations. She has worked within the health and care sector for over 30 years including roles within Calderdale Council, private care homes and community care. Jeanette enjoys spending time with her family and socialising with friends.
Karen joined Abbeyfield shortly after the scheme reopened as a care assistant and took over the role as senior care in November 2014. Karen has worked within the care sector for over ten years. Karen enjoys reading, spending time with her family and socialising with friends in her spare time.
Lorraine is one of the cooks at Ing Royde and joined the scheme towards the end of 2014. Her previous roles have included catering within the care sector. Her speciality dish is lamb thatch pie and in her spare time she enjoys baking cakes and making homemade chutneys and pickles.
We organise regular activities for our residents, these are always optional and designed to cover a whole range of interests.

Home cooked meals are prepared daily by our staff who are dedicated to providing nutritious and tasty food for all residents to enjoy.
There is a communal dinner provided every day which is served in the dining room. All our food is locally sourced and freshly made on the premises.
