Meet our staff

Our house manager is renowned for both her excellent cooking skills and friendly and caring manner since her arrival over four years ago.

She provides two tasty and nutritious home-cooked meals daily, served in the dining room, and residents make breakfast in their own rooms – perfect for a gentle start to the day.

The house manager is resident, and we have an emergency careline system, so you can rest assured that you will always be safe and secure.

Your privacy and independence will be respected at all times.

We also have an en-suite guest room so your friends and family are welcome to stay.

- House manager

Margot – Our House Manager has been with us for eight and a half years but has worked for Abbeyfield for twenty years. With her cheerful outlook, she runs a happy house and enjoys working with older people. When she had a deaf resident, she learned sign language so that they could communicate.

- Deputy house manager

Ruth – Our Deputy House Manager returned to the Castle View family a year ago. She was previously our manager for three years. It was an exciting day for the residents when she was married from the house.

- Kitchen assistant

Margaret - Our Kitchen Assistant and Cleaner worked for the local Girl Guides Headquarters before coming to us in 2007.
