Abbeyfield House provides purpose-built supported accommodation with 11 comfortable en-suite rooms designed especially for older people.

Two tasty and nutritious home-cooked meals, lunch and dinner, are provided every day by the housekeeper and served in the dining room. Residents have breakfast-making facilities in their own rooms so can start the day when they wish.

We have resident management staff and there is always someone on the premises overnight, although there are certain times in the day where there might not be any staff present. However, the house is also equipped with emergency call systems.

This house is managed by Abbeyfield Knutsford.

Life at the house

ActivitiesWe have regular monthly activities that include games afternoons, quizzes and trips out. We also hold a coffee morning on the first Tuesday of every month and visitors are always very welcome.

We provide two healthy and delicious meals a day, which are cooked and prepared at the house. Our qualified cooks pride themselves on providing excellent food which is all freshly prepared, and where possible, using locally sourced produce.

Each house has an individual approach to catering for their residents, with menus being tailored to dietary needs and special events. But we always offer plenty of choices, including vegetarian options, and great portion sizes!

Meal time at an Abbeyfield is also important as it’s when the whole house gets together - a time to have a chat enjoying great food and great company.
