Abbeyfield House Springburn care home provides a peaceful, friendly atmosphere where residents can remain as independent as possible with support from our professional and caring house staff and volunteers when they need it.

The house has 20 single en-suite rooms, there are talented cooks who provide a cooked breakfast and two-course lunch and dinner every day, and we have an activities coordinator who arranges regular activities from coffee mornings to energetic exercise classes.

Life at the house

ActivitiesSpringburn care home has an activity organiser who arranges a variety of activities to suit older people.

We encourage all staff, families and volunteers to get involved in offering stimulating activities such as exercise sessions, dancing, sing-a-longs, quizzes and trips out to the park, museums, theatre and local shops - great fun as well as being very rewarding!

We have a good connection with, and support from, the local community and often have visits and entertainment from the local schoolchildren and Brownies/Boys' Brigade.

Dining areaOur care home has a small team of cooks and kitchen staff who prepare all meals on the premises.

The balanced menu is and nutritious as well as delicious, and offers a wide choice to suit everyone, including a cooked breakfast every morning.

Lunch and dinner consist of two courses, and we can cater for specialised diets if required, so you don't need to worry.
