Meet our staff

Our staff are key to all that we do, and without them, we wouldn’t be the organisation we are today.

We take time to find the right people to work for us, who love their job and go the extra mile in making sure that everyone who lives with us feels happy and secure.

We have our own in-house training programme, so that every member of staff feels supported in delivering the best possible care and assistance and our values of ‘caring, openness, honesty and respect' underpin our ethos of doing the very best we can for all our residents.

Activities

We believe in enjoying later life and an Abbeyfield house will always offer residents the opportunity to get involved in activities and entertainment - which are a big part of life in our houses!

We offer an extensive activity programme within our Supported Houses, with our teams dedicated to coordinating events. We understand the importance of our residents’ emotional and physical well-being, and keeping active and enjoying later life is crucial to this.

Keeping active is important for older people and we offer numerous opportunities for residents to stay active, but it’s always the residents choice to get involved, with their independence and choice always being respected.
