We have two dedicated house keepers with a real empathy for older people. They ensures that the house is warm, comfortable and safe and that the daily meals provided are varied, nutritious and enjoyable. Lunch and dinner are both home-cooked and served in the communal dining room, making mealtimes a social occasion, while residents make breakfast in their own rooms – a gentle start to the day.

Built in 1850 out of local yellow sand stone it stands to the left of St Lawrence Church in the main square at Warkworth. This grand manor house has been sympathetically modernized to accommodate sheltered accommodation while maintaining its status in the surrounding area. The house is situated in a prime location within walking distance to central amenities which include an array of cafes, restaurants, a delicatessen and gift shops.

We have a well-maintained garden where the residents are able to relax and enjoy the natural wildlife. situated on the river which winds round the house grounds the views from the lounge are breathtaking.

Coffee morning

There is always lots going on at Warkworth, If you're looking for a vibrant house with lots of activities Warkworth fits the bill. Throughout the year we hold a summer garden party where we all get together and have a BBQ we hold a raffle to raise funds for our days out.

We hold regular coffee mornings and if the weather is nice afternoon tea is often served in the garden.

We have an active volunteer group who organise activities throughout the year, including regular coffee mornings, games nights and outings. If the weather is nice afternoon tea is served in the garden.
