Abbeyfield House was built in 1992 and consists of eight single en-suite rooms on the ground floor plus one first floor flat - suitable for a couple and accessible by stair lift. All rooms have telephone and TV points and an alarm system.

Our residents are free to enjoy peace and quiet in the privacy of their own rooms, or can have the company of other residents in the lounge. The large bright communal lounge overlooks our beautiful garden and the delightful summer house, which was generously donated by the grateful family of a resident.

Our philosophy is homeliness, and we ensure that our residents feel that this is their home in every sense of the word.

This house is managed by Abbeyfield Kilmarnock.

Life at the house

KitchenThe delicious and nutritious homemade meals, lunch and high tea, provided by the talented housekeepers are very much enjoyed by all - in fact visitors often comment on the excellent cuisine.

Each room has a kettle, toaster and small refrigerator so residents can make their own refreshments and breakfast and start the day when it suits them.
