House Manager

We have a fully qualified House Manager, Vikki Ferguson, that has experience in mental health and supporting older people along, with many years care experience. Vikki enjoys her role in the house spending time with the residents. She is fully trained to SVQ standard and is SSSC registered. All her training is up to date and renewed every year.

We have one full time cook and two part time cooks all of which are fully trained and cook to a high standard. The Senior Cook liaises with residents to discuss food menus and is happy to accommodate new requests.  All our cooks have many years cooking experience.

Laundry is completed and returned by a member of staff. Every room has an allocated day for laundry.

Cleaning is completed daily by our in-house cleaner who cleans the public areas and resident’s bathrooms and rooms to a very high standard.

All staff complete training on a regular basis and are up to date.

We have a wonderful team of volunteers who are always there for the residents to talk to and to listen. They take them shopping and to functions, church, meetings, and outings.
