Built in 1982, Abbeyfield House offers supported living for older people wanting to retain their independence but live as part of an active and social community. Our house is made up of 10 en-suite rooms and two one-bedroom flats.

We know that moving house can be daunting for people of any age, that's why at Abbeyfield House we want to make your transition as easy as we can. We want Abbeyfield House to feel like home and invite residents to bring their own furniture from home to give their room a personal touch.

Completing our home is a communal lounge, dining room and garden which residents are encouraged to use at their leisure be it for relaxation or hosting visiting friends and family.

Our home is truly family-orientated, we want friends and family to visit whenever is suitable for residents and they're invited to stay for lunch. Pets are also welcome at Abbeyfield House.

Staff work 9am-6pm during the week and 9am-4pm on weekends, at all other times our home is monitored by our care line ensuring residents feel safe, secure and supported.
