Animals as therapy is a proving to be a hit at Abbeyfield. For the last 6 and a half years, residents at our Pratt House care home in Amersham have been benefiting from animal therapy, through regular visits from the adorable Doug The Therapy Pug! Doug is a registered Therapy Dog with Pets As Therapy.

Work has started on the site of the new Abbeyfield Extra Care Scheme in Plymouth. The 80 Abbeyfield apartments scheme comes as part of the wider development of the city’s Millbay area and will address the need for affordable housing for the community’s older people.
