We are very proud of our success in providing high quality care for older residents since 1986, and marked our 25th anniversary in 2011 with various celebrations.
We have a wonderful house manager and management committee chairman, and have recently achieved the Abbeyfield Gold Star rating in recognition of our high standards of care and management.
We are situated in a pleasant residential area in the pretty village of Haddenham in rural Buckinghamshire. Stonehill House is very much part of the Haddenham village community. Our residents participate in events in the village and some village organisations hold meetings in the house.
We have large attractive gardens which residents enjoy easily thanks to level paths and patios.
With just eleven rooms we are a small house, but this is what makes us special. Our residents feel that it is ‘home from home’ as the dining room and lounge of the original house are still used, but their rooms are spacious and modern – the best of both worlds!

Our home
Stonehill House
Opened in 1985, Stonehill House is a beautiful care home located in the scenic village of Haddenham. Our house comprises of 11 comfortable, safe, and well-equipped en-suite rooms, five of which have direct access to the garden at the back of the house. We continuously strive to ensure that our house is maintained to the highest standards, looks attractive and meets the changing needs of our residents.
