Learning and Development Business Partner

Salary - £33,000 - £35,000 per annum

Hours - 35 Per Week

Abbeyfield are looking to recruit a Learning & Development Business Partner to cover the following:-

Key Responsibilities

  • Consult with HR and business leaders on an ongoing basis to understand business objectives and key priorities, diagnose learning and development requirements and determine most appropriate method to satisfy the need.
  • Plan successful design, development and implementation of blended learning programmes and consultancy / facilitation activities that improve capability and have a sustainable impact on business performance, coordinating resources through internal or external provision.
  • Generate, build and manage relationships with partners to provide services that achieve a return on investment and a positive impact on business objectives.
  • Secure coaching and/or mentoring assignments to enhance people management & leadership capability and any skills required to further business performance.
  • Negotiate with learning providers and deliver the right development solutions ensuring costs, time, quality and other targets are achieved.
  • Manage internal trainers and collaborate with SME to design and implement effective programmes.
  • Design and deliver when appropriate effective learning programmes.
  • Implement and analyse programme feedback to ensure programmes are sustained and have a positive impact on business performance through effective leaning transfer.
  • Analyse and provide timely and comprehensive information to key stakeholders to enable excellent customer service and accurate MI.
  • Plan and implement communications and promotion of services and learning courses / programmes.

General Responsibilities

  • Attend and actively participate in team meetings, and one to one discussions as required
  • Take ownership of continuous professional development (CPD) and complete any required learning as agreed with the Line Manager
  • Maintain confidentiality at all times
  • Carry out any reasonable duties as requested by the Line Manager
  • Become familiar with and comply with all relevant company policies and practices
  • Act as an ambassador for the Abbeyfield Society and in accordance with its values of being caring, open, honest and respectful
