How you can support us to improve the lives of older people

We believe that older people should never experience loneliness and isolation, and should have every opportunity to live their lives in dignity and with respect.

The medical, physical, mental, emotional and spiritual needs of older people are right at the top of our list of priorities, and we work hard to ensure that all our residents are valued members of the community.

In order to do this effectively, we rely on the help and support of people like you. It’s people just like you who generously give their time and money, share their skills, and offer practical and emotional support to our residents, enabling us to do more for older people.

Together, we can improve the lives of older people in your community. Here’s how you can get involved:

Volunteer with us

When you volunteer with Abbeyfield, you know that you’re making an immediate difference to the life of an older person. We have over 500 homes throughout the UK, so we can match you with a volunteering opportunity in your community. Meet our volunteers to find out more.

Fundraise for us

There are many opportunities to support our fundraising. We use the funds that you donate to support our current services and develop new properties for future generations, all over the UK. Find out how we use your funds to make the world a better place for older people.

Remember us in your Will

We will ensure that your legacy lives on by using your gift to improve the daily lives of older people. Legacy gifts have enabled us to transform gardens, build beautiful sunrooms, buy mini buses and organise wonderful day trips for our residents. Find out how you can leave a legacy gift to Abbeyfield

Tell others about us

Please spread the word on social media and tell your friends, family and community about the work that we do. This will encourage more people to support our volunteering and  fundraising.
