We aim to provide a peaceful, friendly atmosphere. Residents are encouraged to remain as independent as possible and are encouraged to make the house a home for life. We offer a full range of activities from coffee mornings to the more energetic exercise classes. It's a home from home with support when you need it from our professional and caring house staff and volunteers.

This Abbeyfield House was built in 1986 and extended by joining it with another house in 2006. It comprises 22 ensuite flats and has extensive grounds with a summer house and patios. New residents are accepted from 65 years of age.

Two daily meals are provided with breakfast taken in residents' own rooms. We are staffed twenty four hours a day, with a member of staff awake at night, a visiting chiropodist and hairdresser, a volunteer run shop, and monthly church service.
