Overview

The Old Bakehouse is a friendly welcoming house, with a lovely eye-catching large garden. It's located in a sought after Cotswold village with stunning countryside views.

We provide a peaceful, friendly atmosphere where residents can remain as independent as possible, with support when you need it from our caring staff and volunteers.

This lovely characterful supported house has 11 private rooms with en suite bathrooms.

We have a large garden which offers residents and their families a place to sit in the summer. It includes a large patio area which is also used in the summer for events such as barbecues or summer fetes.

The house has a comfortable newly furnished dining room and lounge for the residents and guests, and we also offer a guest room.

A community alarm service gives you peace of mind and professionally trained staff on hand to provide assistance. We also have onsite hairdressing facilities.

Life at the house

Coffee morningWithin the house the atmosphere is relaxed, friendly and welcoming. There are supportive staff and volunteers at the house during working hours. Residents feel safe within the house and are able to talk to any member of staff in confidence if they are struggling with something or if they are worried.

Activities include:

We offer a range of many activities in the house, including coffee mornings where the local school children attend and often perform songs, much to the enjoyment of our residents.

Events include:

We also have key events in the year such as Christmas or Valentine's Day, so there is often a special meal and entertainment on the day. We try to do this as regularly as possible so that residents get to socialise with one another but in different environments. This also benefits them as they feel more happy with each event, and make special memories within the group of residents.

KitchenTwo homemade meals are served every day, and include a dessert from the menu the house manger has chosen. The meals are nutritious and aim to meet the recommended fiveĀ  portions of fruit and vegetables a day. They are cooked by fully qualified members of staff in our safe and hygienic 5 star kitchen.
