Overview

Our assisted living house was built in 1983 and has been recently been refurbished, creating a warm and homely atmosphere for our residents.

Rooms currently available - contact us today!

The house consists of 14 rooms all on ground level, a communal lounge and dining room, a laundry room and a well-maintained garden. We also have four communal bathrooms in the house which have been renovated, two of which are shower rooms and the other two shower / bathrooms; we have retained two of our baths, one of which has a hoist.

Tasty and nutritious home cooked meals are provided daily at lunch time and tea time and served in the communal dining room, making mealtimes a social occasion. Coffee mornings are also organised every day in the communal lounge. Residents have breakfast making facilities in their own rooms so they can have their breakfast whenever they want, for a gentle start to the day.

The house has excellent links to the local community and to the nearby Abbeyfield Canvey Island Society house. Staff and residents organise activities throughout the year for public holidays as well as other social events within Abbeyfield, which welcome members of the community and local volunteers.
